DV Toolkit for Pro Tools LE Now AvailableAdds Desktop Post Production Functionality to Pro Tools LE 6.1 Software July 13, 2003 Digidesign's DV Toolkit for Pro Tools LE software is now available. DV Toolkit is an optional software bundle that adds desktop post production functionality to Pro Tools LE systems (version 6.1 or newer). Specialized functionality gives users tools to edit audio with frame accuracy; support for the import and export of AAF and OMF media files with applications such as Avid Xpress DV; and, using bundled plug-ins, the ability to replace bad on-camera dialog and repair/restore poor field audio.
DV Toolkit adds the following to Pro Tools LE:
- Enables Time Code functions with Pro Tools LE for frame-based editing of audio to picture
- AAF and OMF import and export with the DigiTranslator 2.0 software option
- One-of-a kind lip sync and audio alignment capabilities using Synchro Arts VocALign Project
- Background noise reduction using DINR AudioSuite Noise Reduction plug-in
- Support for both Windows XP and Mac OS X
The DV Toolkit is being offered at an introductory list price of $795 US MSRP (Regular price: $995 US MSRP).
