Line 6 has unveiled its newest guitar amplifier head, HD147, delivering new signature Line 6 tones, along with vintage amp models and modern tones, power for any live situation, effects, and a sleek chrome chassis.
"Like kids with comic book heroes, we took the best attributes of every great high gain guitar amp to build a super-amp that would rule them all," said Darrell Smith, product manager, Line 6. "Our creation - the HD147 - offers obscene tone, ranging from chest pounding rhythmic chunk, to sparkly cleans, with an insane amount of power that cuts through any band with ease."
The Line 6 team of amp and sound designers altered the basic building blocks of coveted vintage and modern tube amplifiers to get 14 custom Line 6 amp models. These custom models offer a collection of extremely clean and high gain tones. HD147 also delivers 10 essential modern amp models, and 8 vintage models that cover the gamut of tonal range.
At 300-watts, HD147 offers thick and fast low end, articulation and maximum headroom from its powerful current feedback amplifier. HD147 is encased in a beautiful chrome chassis that conveys both the power and elegance of this amplifier.
For expanded connectivity, HD147 can be used with an FBV Shortboard foot controller. The FBV Shortboard provides access to 36 presets on HD147; dedicated, hands-free channel switches; reverb and FX loop on/off switches; large name display; wah/volume pedal with tie switch on/off; expression pedal input for separate volume control; chromatic tuner; and program patch naming.
