October 22, 2003Developed by Wizoo, the Hypersonic virtual music workstation
ships with an array of groovy features: 1,000 patches,
64 effect sections, 32 freely assignable individual outputs
and the polyphonic power of up to 1,024 voices.
Though Hypersonic happily serves up sample-based synthesis, with Virtual Analog,
FM, Wavetable and Sliced Loop cooking in its kitchen, this
formidable machine cooks up four more menus to satisfy every
appetite for synthesis. Rather than pumping out analog synthesizer
sounds by simply playing back samples, its onboard virtual
analog synthesizer computes sounds in real-time, conjuring
bigger, better and far more assertive sonic events.
Hypersonic is more than a preset karaoke box. It lets
sonic explorers edit patches extensively, tailoring
them to suit every musical situation. Another Wizoo innovation
affords easy, intuitive and effective editing: Hyper knobs are
intelligent and powerful control features designed to tweak
several sound generator parameters simultaneously. With
multiple parameter assignments making even very complex
tweaking operations a breeze, users can sculpt hip tones in a
snap.
Available as a VST and an AU instrument,
Hypersonic integrates seamlessly into multiple platforms and all
prevalent virtual studio environments.
Hypersonic carries a
manufacturer's suggested retail price of merely 399.00 Euros.
