Native Instruments is excited to announce a new update for Kompakt which
brings the powerful sampler to Mac OS X. Kompakt now fully supports the
modern technologies and interfaces of OS X, including AudioUnits, RTAS, VST
and standalone operation with CoreMIDI and CoreAudio.
Kompakt is a streamlined sampler, powered by the Kontakt
engine, that ships with a comprehensive library and can import the most
common sample formats. The factory library contains a wide range of
instruments like pianos, basses, loops, drums, guitars, strings, and more
from the East West and Zero-G libraries. Kompakt is a quick way to
build a production-ready instrument collection, and it can also import
Kontakt, Gigasampler, HALion, EXS, AKAI, and other common
formats.
The Kompakt update is immediately available to all registered users as a
free download.
Kompakt carries an MSRP of $199 and 199 Euro.
All Kontakt users can purchase Kompakt for a discounted
price of $99. For more information, visit their web site at www.native-instruments.com. |
