TAL Introduces Mississippi Dregs Crossroads Fuzz Pedal

TAL Audio announced the Mississippi Dregs Crossroads Fuzz. The product was developed specifically for the needs of the professional electric guitarist and audio engineer. The fuzz box provides a harmonic overdrive effect without adding noise or other undesirable artifacts to the guitar signal. It features true bypass switching with an ultra low current LED status indicator. The boutique market pedal was developed to provide a high-end analog alternative to digital modeling type distortion pedals and effects systems.
The TAL Audio Mississippi Dregs Crossroads Fuzz is a low-noise harmonic overdrive pedal designed for live performance and studio recording. The 100% analog design fuzz box interfaces with both pro and semi-pro recording equipment and instrument amplifiers.
The dual 9-volt battery, true bipolar power scheme provides maximum headroom for high output pickups or instruments with active electronics and eliminates noise and ground loop problems associated with AC powered equipment. A battery power switching design is incorporated into the input and output jacks to preserve battery life when the instrument cables are disconnected.
The Mississippi Dregs Crossroads Fuzz features a critically voiced 3-band active EQ circuit and a very high input impedance for optimum signal transfer between the device and other equipment or guitar output. The controls include: Bottom, Mid, Top, Drive, and Crossroads. The Drive control sets the amount of input signal gain going into the Crossroads fuzz circuitry and allows the user to control the amount of distortion. The Crossroads fuzz level control is post EQ and Drive controls and the effect can be set for minimum clipping or maximum saturation without ever sounding harsh. Each unit is hand assembled in the USA.
