Notre Dame de Budapest Pipe Organ Captured for GigaStudio
December 1, 2003
Hungary-based Shirokuma Ltd. announced that Notre Dame de
Budapest Pipe Organ Samples (NDB) for Tascam's
GigaStudio is now available.
While the library was originally designed for the forthcoming version of GigaStudio (v3.0), Shirokuma
gave heed to the calls of the enthusiasts and decided to publish a version of the library for the currently
shipping GigaStudio v2.
Notre Dame de Budapest Pipe Organ Samples contains all important stop
combinations of a symphonic organ together with the the natural reverb of the cathedrals. The collection also offers real swellbox, crescendo and tremolo effects.
"I am particularly proud of capturing those little details that make an organ sound truly authentic," said
Csaba Huszty, NDB architect and lead engineer. "Besides the swellbox, crescendo and tremolo effects that
are first of their kind among organ samples, organ enthuiasts will appreciate that we recorded even the
sound of the organ engine and the sound of registration."
