"Neptunian Drumz" Released for Akai MPC Samplers

MPCsounds.com has expanded its library of HipHop sample disks
with the release of "Neptunian Drumz" for the Akai MPC2000, MPC2000xl,
MPC3000, and MPC4000. Each of the 9 drum kits contain 24 kick drums, 20
snares, and 20 hi-hats and percussion sounds, with a different sound on every pad
in all four banks. Created in the style of Neptunes, Just Blaze, and the KeeMaster
himself, the sets feature deep ambient kick drums, "snap-clap" layered-style
snares, and many diverse percussion sounds, such as shakers, snaps, claps, ethnic
percussion, chimes, and more.
These sounds have been
tweaked, hyped, and mastered, then programmed extensively on the MPC itself.
The library was created by Kyle Kee (aka "KeeMaster") of MPCsounds. Kee has
a list of HipHop, rap, and RnB credits as an engineer/producer with
Jive, Sony, Motown, Universal, Interscope, Cash Money Records, and many others.
"Neptunian Drumz 1, 2, and 3" are each 3-floppy-disk sets selling for
$29.95, or the whole series is available on a 100-Meg Zip Disk for $89.95.
