Now available, RoomVerb M2 is a VST/DX audio plugin that has been updated to be more usable and offer better reverberation quality.
The plugin interface has been redesigned from the ground up to provide an easy way to access the increased power of the new reverb engine. All plugin controls are now grouped into eight view pages so you can concentrate on editing different aspects of reverb. There's also a new "easy" page where you can control the most essential reverb parameters without going deep into editing.The main new feature of the interface is a completely new preset management system. It allows to search presets by categories and keywords, making it easier to find what you want out of the 200+ factory presets.
The reverberation engine has been enhanced with two new unique technologies and highly optimized for using SSE/SSE2 instructions to fully utilize the power of modern processors.
RoomVerb M2 Features:
- Plate and Outdoor acoustic space simulation modes
- Time and Spectral Domain Spatial Decorrelation Technology
- Reverb Modulation with a choice of random LFOs
- Control of Early and Late reflections
- Separate 3-band parametric equalizers for Early and Late reflections
- Acoustic space environment modelling through air and material frequency-dependant absorption simulation filters with a set of more than 40 presets included
- Two Built-in Gates with True Stereo RMS Detection
- 200+ ready-to-use factory presets
- Database based preset management system with categorial and keyword search

Minimal Configuration:
- Pentium 1GHz, 64 Mb of RAM, Video adapter that supports running in high color mode. 7Mb of free hard disk space.
Free demo version is available for download. RoomVerb M2 2.0 VST/DX plugin can be purchased in the SpinAudio OnLine Shop. The regular price is 145 USD, however the product will be available for a special Christmas price of 95 USD through 31st December, 2003. Registered RoomVerb M2 1.3 users can purchase the product for a special discounted price.
RoomVerb M2 versions for Mac OS X, TC PowerCore Firewire, and Soundscape Mixpander are under development and will be announced in the year 2004.
