M-Audio Adds Large Capsule Solaris to Microphone Line
September 26, 2003
M-Audio has started shipping the new Solaris microphone, a full-featured, large diaphragm condenser microphone.
As an addition to the project studio's microphone cabinet, or as a single, multi-purpose mic for a personal home studio setup, the Solaris has been designed with features usually reserved for more expensive and exotic microphones, such as a three-micron diaphragm, selectable polar patterns, bass roll-off filter and switchable -10 dB pad. Its designer look and vintage motif are guaranteed to command attention.
Offering precision circuitry and components, low self-noise and minimal coloration, the Solaris microphone is good for capturing the nuances of vocals, acoustic instruments and other critical source material.
Solaris carries an MSRP of $359.95 and is now shipping.
The estimated street price is under $300. For more information, visit their web site at www.midiman.net. |
