Studio Case Plus combines the company's Studio Case music software package with its VSL 2020 PCI audio card. This limited edition package is now available for Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Steinberg's Studio Case Plus is a comprehensive all- round music-making package: music production software (Cubase SE), combined with five virtual instruments and the VSL 2020 audio card. Available for Windows 2000 and Windows XP, Studio Case Plus is an open, expandable music creation system. Not only can all software be upgraded to more complex versions, but the audio hardware can be extended with the addition of analog/digital converters to increase the number of input and output channels for recording and monitoring. With a host of features based on Steinberg's Cubase SX, Cubase SE gives enthusiasts and newcomers to digital music production the tools they need to start making music on their home computers. Studio Case Plus offers five fantastic-sounding VST instruments, including The Grand SE, D'cota SE, Virtual Guitarist Electric Edition SE, Groove Agent SE and HALion SE. The VSL 2020 is a 24-bit/96 kHz audio card with both analog and digital inputs and outputs. Low latency ASIO 2 drivers allow the audio buffers to be reduced to only 32 samples, a latency of less than a millisecond. On top of the available MIDI input and output, up to 20 I/O channels can be used simultaneously when demands grow. The dual ADAT interface provides 16 inputs and 16 outputs and can be connected to any ADAT compatible converter box, digital mixers or other outboard equipment. Studio Case Plus is available at a suggested retail price of 370.00 Euro excluding VAT.
