Learn to Play in the Style of Brian Setzer

New Riff Interactive Interactive Guitar Lesson CD-ROM

February 13, 2003

Riff Interactive, the developer of interactive guitar lesson CD-ROMs, live internet music lessons, and online celebrity seminars has released a new Interactive Guitar Lesson CD-ROM product created by guitar educator Rusty Cash - In The Style Of Brian Setzer (Stray Cats) (retail $14.95, sale $9.95). Rusty Cash is a country, rock and jazz guitar virtuoso and educator who has taught guitar for over 19 years.

Over the course of this series you will learn how to play some of Brian's most popular licks. You begin by exploring some rockabilly techniques such as finger picking, blues, rock, and country licks that are all incorporated in the rockabilly style. Then you move on to look at some of Setzer's moodier licks. From there you'll look into the harmonic minor and minor blues scale and define some good techniques to building Setzer licks. The last thing you look at will be a ballad in 6/8 timing characteristic to the style of music in the 50's, which became the birth of Rockabilly music. You'll cover a lot of material such as arpeggios and how to jazz them up a bit. Each lesson has videos, interactive tabs, pictures, jam tracks, and a short description that will make you feel like you are one on one with the instructor.

Check out an audio sample (MP3 - 992k) of what you will learn: www.riffinteractive.com/catalog/media/brians2.mp3
