E-MU Systems has announced the
new Vintage Keys, a 61-note keyboard that delivers the classic sounds of
'60's, '70's and '80's with all of the synthesis features of E-MU's Proteus line of products. Vintage Keys offers the
same keyboard samples as E-MU's Vintage Pro Sound
Module (released in November 2002) - everything from the venerable Hammond
B-3 organ and Wurlitzer EP to legendary analog and digital synthesizers
like the ARP 2600 and CP70. Vintage Keys gives you an all-in-one,
no-compromise collection of over 30 classic keyboards, meticulously sampled
from the finest vintage instruments available.
Vintage Keys features a 32 MB soundset that offers an extensive
collection of sampled vintage keyboards from the '60's, '70's and
'80's, topped-off with an assortment of samples from E-MU's
B-3 module. Product Manager Sean Wilhelmsen explains "Vintage Keys is
an indispensable tool for musicians playing almost any kind of music - from
classic rock and blues purists to the latest in dance music productions -
these keyboard sounds have a timeless appeal that are heard in almost every
genre of music. Being able to carry an arsenal of classic sounds in a
single keyboard is a dream - especially when they sound this good." he
concludes.
You can also expand your available sound palette with up to
three additional Proteus Expansion ROMs, allowing you to customize the
soundset to fit your specific needs. With 64 voice polyphony, 4 analog
outputs and real-time control knobs and features, Vintage Keys gives you
all of the classic keyboard sounds with the power of
E-MU's sound engine.
Vintage Keys ships late
February and retails for US $795.
