Building on the success of the original RG and RH series amplifiers and designed with the intermediate to semi-professional guitarist in mind, Randall's G2 Series will feature modified circuit designs to include additional front panel controls and foot switching options.

All G2 Series amps incorporate dual gain stages, which includes the British voiced Gain 1, and the modern Randall distortion of Gain 2. Both gain stages include a new Voicing switch, as well as a Contour control. A redesigned clean channel boasts a new foot switching Boost function, as well as an independent Reverb control.
