Precisionsound Releases Kloo Mandolin LibraryHALion, Kontakt, and SoundFont
formats all included September 11, 2004
The unique Mandolin that is the focus of Precisionsound's latest sample library was built by the instrument maker Ulf Kloo in 1997 for
the musician Leif Isebring. The Kloo Mandolin has an extended range from G2 to
D6.
The complete Kloo Mandolin sample library contains 489 individual 24-bit Mono WAV
samples (the SoundFont set is 16-bit).
The content is organized into 12 programs for HALion 1.*, NI Kontakt 1.2, and 11 SoundFont programs.
The 16-bit SoundFont programs is 100% compatible with Gigasampler, EXS24,
NN-XT, Emulator-X and all other samplers with SoundFont import function.
Two different picked note programs of included (just one in the SoundFont set), a flam notes program, and tremolo program. All programs are chromatically sampled with two velocity levels. There are also flageolets, fret noises, and a selection of noises, knocks, scrape &
scratch sounds plus a special program called "KM Glass".
Both the SoundFonts (16 bit) and HALion/Kontakt (24 bit) Sets are included
when ordering.
