With the recent release of the OSX
driver for the new AES16, Lynx Studio Technology, Inc. now offers the latest
Macintosh support for all of their 24 bit, 196 kHz digital audio interfaces.
"We began full OSX support of the LynxTWO and L22 digital audio interfaces
in November. In January, we put our new OSX drivers for the AES16 onto our
website," stated David Hoatson, Lynx co-founder and head software engineer
for Lynx Studio Technology. "We are taking advantage of the added
capabilities that OSX offers professional audio, including the new option to
use multiple PCI cards with applications that accept this standard."
Lynx's new OSX CoreAudio drivers give complete software control over every
aspect of the AES16 and AES16-SRC to ease installation and use.
Complete channel status information for each of the digital inputs, and
giving control over each of the digital outputs is provided.
All drivers are available for immediate free download from the Lynx Studio
Technology website. For more information, visit their web site at www.lynxstudio.com. |
