New QB-4 Mini DAW from Digital Audio Wave

QB-4 DAWMay 17, 2004

Digital Audio Wave has addied the DAWin QB-4 to their line of specialized DAW computer systems.

With one AGP8X and three full length PCI slots, and the standard 8-in-1 card reader, the limiting factors of small form factor (SFF) systems are no longer so limiting. For adequate power, the300W power supply provides current delivery and is about the biggest available for any SFF system in the market. Couple that with the sound insulated side panels and baffled vents, and it's quiet case material, unlike the sheet metal aluminum of its cousins the QB-4 sports a hybrid, sandwich material, a lamination of plastic and aluminum skins greatly improving on thermal and acoustic properties according to the company.
