Novation will be making 4 and 5 octave versions of the ReMote in response to the demand for more keys from end users. Novation is set to start shipping the ReMote 49 (4 octave) and ReMote 61 (5 octave) in April.
The ReMote allows users to interact with software synthesizers & multitrack software via USB. The ReMote is also used as a standalone MIDI controller via it's 1 in, 2 out and 1 thru MIDI ports. There is no need for a wall-wart power supply; the ReMote is powered from a USB cable.
Other Features:
- Programmable X/Y touchpad.
- 64 programmable templates. Over 50 templates out-of-the-box including: Reason, Native Instruments, Logic and Cubase.
- 24 buttons, 8 sliders, 8 encoders and 8 knobs; all user definable.
- Backlit blue & silver (2x16) LCD display.
- Dedicated Transport Controls.
- Ships with USB/MIDI drivers for Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP and Mac OSX.
