vember|audio has released Shortcircuit, their solution for creative sampling on the VST PC platform.
Shortcircuit features a user interfaced streamlined for fast sample loading/editing and a versatile arsenal of filters. The engine is capable of 256 voices along with up to 16 mono AND 8 stereo outputs per instance. You can apply two filters/effects to each voice. Additional effects can be applied at the group level. There are also plenty of modulation options as well, including the abillity to modulate envelope times and loop points.
The company has also released Shortcircuit Free, a 2-note polyphony limited version of Shortcircuit. It is completely free to download and gives you a way to evaluate the capabilities of the full version of Shortcircuit.
Shortcircuit is available now for a price of 150 Euro.
