Speedster Amps Introduces Turbo Charger Pedal

August 16, 2004

The Turbo Charger pedal ($240) came about from a desire to capture one of the most desirable overdrive/distortion sounds from the late '70s, in addition to allowing the true sound of the guitar and a player's technique to come through.

Knowing the abuse some pedals endure, Speedster decided to wrap its pedal in a virtually indestructible package. This pedal is milled from a solid billet of aircraft grade aluminum and anodized for maximum durability.

Built to be smooth and musical for that great cranked tube sound, the Turbo Charger features true bypass, a JRC4558 chip, high-end composition resistors & components, and a precision machined housing of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized to military specifications.
