Coyote R&D announced the Two-Can, a 2U high, 14 inch deep, fully configured, rackmount PC designed to handle all the latest sequencers, digital audio editors, plug-ins, soft-synths, and soft-samplers.

The Two-Can is a complete turnkey PC computer solution for the musician, sporting such features as the ability to hold up to three hard drives with over half a terabyte capacity, CPU speeds up to 3200+, memory up to 3GB, and FireWire 800 and gigabit ethernet capable.

Coyote R&D's president, Mike W. Smith, said "We're really excited about this product. So many of our Musi-Can customers have asked us for a rack unit that's just as compact, but with the ability to hold more drives, more memory, and larger sound cards. Before the Two-Can, it wasn't possible to have anything smaller than a 3U chassis in a portable rack case. But now, thanks to some clever engineering, we can fit a fully configured desktop computer in a space the size of two telephone books."

The Two-Can not only contains a high performance computer, but also comes with Coyote R&D's NetMIDI drivers for 256 ports per machine of high speed MIDI over network, connecting both Macs and PCs.
