Three New Guitar Libraries for Akai MPC Samplers July 9, 2005
For producers needing to add the licks and riffs of guitar players to their tracks, Syntaur Productions has come to the rescue by inviting some professional players into the studio to do what they do best. The result is several new sound sets for the Akai MPC samplers.
Get the funk, the whole funk, and nuthin' but the funk with "WahWah Guitars." This collection of wah-wah guitar riffs, bites, bends, pull-offs, and single notes will add some sweet soul or a 70's Funkadelic vibe to tracks. Created with the R&B/HipHop producer in mind, this set comes complete with 36 production-ready stereo samples that have been extensively programmed on every pad, and in every bank, for the Akai MPC.
The "Akoustik Riffs" set features acoustic guitar lines, ranging from smooth to sweet to bluesy. There are over 60 different sounds in this collection.
"Sweet Guitars" offers a sparkling-clean collection of chord samples, played on acoustic guitars. This set has dozens of samples, and can be used for adding those subtle elements to tracks.
Each of these new sets is $29.95, and comes on three floppy disks, with sounds on every pad in all four Banks. You can also get "Wah-Wah Guitars," "Akoustik Riffs," and "Sweet Guitars" together in the "Guitar Vibes" bundle (CD-ROM or Zip Disk) for $79.95 (MPC2000, 2000xl, 3000, or 4000 compatible). "Guitar Vibes" is also offered on CD-ROM in WAV format ($59.95), and fully programmed for Native Instruments Battery ($64.95) and Propellerhead Reason NN-XT ($74.95).
