Yorkville Sound has just released the YSM2P Active
Studio Monitor. This active 46-watt two-way bi-amplified loudspeaker
delivers a full 70 to 19,000 Hz frequency response from its 5.25 -inch
woofer and 1-inch soft dome tweeter.
The low-resonance 4-ohm woofer housed in the YSM2P's MDF cabinet is
fabricated with a woven laminate cone designed to easily handle the full 32
watts the monitor's internal low frequency amplifier delivers. The high
frequency amplifier is capable of delivering an additional 14 watts
dedicated to the 1-inch, high-performance tweeter. A tuned active
crossover network ensures a smooth transition between the components and
accurate source representation without additional equalization.
XLR and 1/4-inch input jacks allow for connectivity to virtually any
source. Shielded drivers ensure the YSM2P's can be located close to computer
and video monitors or hard drive recording systems.
