Peavey Introduces DeltaFexTM Twin Multi-Effects

July 11, 1997

Peavey Electronics Corporation announces the introduction of the new DeltaFex(TM) Twin, which features two independent stereo multi-effect processors built into a single rack-space unit. Targeted for working bands and home studios, each processor has a complete set of independent features, including stereo inputs and outputs and 16 different effect types (consisting of 7 reverbs, 4 delays, a paralleled delay + reverb multi-effect, chorus, flange, phase shift, and rotary speaker with switchable morphing speed control that allows the speed to ramp up and down just like the real thing!)

Each effect has two adjustable parameters that allow you to customize the effect to fit your needs. The front panel has a WET/DRY mix control, INPUT and OUTPUT level controls and a bi-color clip LED. There are also two rear-panel defeat jacks, one for each processor, to plug in optional defeat switches which turn each effect on/off, except the rotary speaker, for which they control the speed. The DeltaFex Twin also allows reverb and delay tails to carry over when the effect is defeated.
