Peavey Unveils MAXTM 100 Floor Processor

July 11, 1997

Peavey Electronics Corporation announces the introduction of the MAX 100 floor processor. This unit contains a dual-channel preamp featuring Peavey's patented, award-winning TransTube analog tube emulation technology for awesome tube tone, and a fully programmable 24-bit stereo effects processor. It is solidly built and very rugged, with an all-metal chassis and switches so there are no plastic switches to break or endbells to fall off.

The MAX 100 offers completely separate patch-selectable Lead and Clean channels, and the 24-bit stereo effects processor features seven different user-programmable effects (up to six at a time) including reverb, delay, chorus, flange, phase shift, tremolo, and rotary speaker with morphing speed control. The MAX 100 also allows reverb and delay tails to carry over during patch changes.

Also included are 30 user-definable patches and 30 factory presets, a chromatic tuner, an LED display, programmable master volume on each patch, and a unique DSP Edge control that allows you to roll off the high end in the effects section for added warmth. The MAX 100 even has a CD input and stereo headphone jack so you can practice anytime, anywhere.
