Peavey Introduces EVH Wolfgang July 11, 1997
Peavey Electronics is pleased to introduce the EVH Wolfgang. A versatile, filly-professional instrument with a personality all its own, the Wolfgang combines Edward Van Halen's insight with Peavey's expertise in the guitar manufacturing. The single cutaway, arched top body is made from either solid basswood for a lightweight, resonant guitar or basswood, with a select quilted maple top, for crisp attack and warm sustain. The stunning, single-piece bird's-eye maple neck features a 22-fret fingerboard cut from the same piece of wood as the neck to keep the color and grain patterns consistent.
Two Peavey humbucking pickups, custom-wound to Edward's strict specification, supply plenty of output with low-noise operation. A master volume, master tone and 3-way pickup selector provide a wide variety of tonal possibilities.
If your needs include a custom-designed guitar with outstanding performance and versatility, the EVH Wolfgang will exceed all of your expectations.
