Roland KC-100 Keyboard Amplifier July 11, 1997
Expanding its popular line of KC-Series keyboard amplifiers, Roland Corporation is premiering the KC-100 4-Channel Mixing Keyboard Amplifier. The KC-100 is a compact 4-channel, 60-watt keyboard amplifier designed to accurately reproduce the wide range of frequencies produced by modern keyboards, guitar synths, electronic percussion and even vocals.
As a member of Roland's renowned KC-Series, the KC-100 maintains all of the design concepts of the innovative KC-300 (100 watts) and KC-500 (150 watts) in a lighter, more portable configuration and is built by Roland Audio Development in the United States. The KC-100's compact, stand-mountable design, ultra-clean, full-range sound and output power make it ideal for small-stage performances and stage monitoring. Its 12-inch woofer and tweeter are precision components, delivering the flat frequency response required for professional electronic instrument amplification and monitoring.
The KC-100's flexible input/output section includes: four 1/4" inputs, one of which is a dedicated monitor input; an XLR mic input; a 1/4" line output; and a 1/4" headphone jack. The dedicated monitor input is sent to both the internal speaker and the headphone jack-but not the output jack-for convenient routing of metronome clicks or any other desired "monitor-only" audio.
Individual Level knobs for each channel as well as master Low, High and Volume controls provide straightforward, intuitive signal mixing and equalization.
Because of its professional features and compact design, the affordably-priced KC-100 Keyboard Amplifier will fit perfectly into a variety of applications beyond keyboard amplification, such as electronic percussion, guitar synthesizers, vocals and anywhere clean, full-bandwidth sound is a priority.
