Sabine presents the next generation of the ADF: the POWER-Q ADF-4000.
The POWER-Q combines the functions of seven separate products into one easy-to-use 2U
package. Besides the FBX Feedback Exterminator, the 24-bit, two-channel POWER-Q contains
parametric EQ (up to 12 band per channel, with lo and hi pass filters), 31-band graphic EQ with
adjustable filter widths, full-featured real-time analyzer, compressor/limiter, digital delay and noise
gate. All functions operate concurrently.
Also included are adaptive features unique to Sabine: automatic room equalizing (patented
technology matches your specified curve in less than four minutes per channel), ClipGuard(TM)
adaptive clip level control (expands dynamic range to >110dB) and the FBX Feedback
Exterminator, which automatically finds and eliminates feedback during program, not just at setup.
The FBX feature provides more gain before feedback, increased clarity and maximum wireless mic
mobility.
The POWER-Q's 12 digital filters (per channel) can be switched between parametric (with
adjustable frequency, width and depth), fixed FBX, locked fixed or dynamic FBX. The width of the
constant Q FBX filters is adjustable.
Now with an easy-to-use interface with data wheel and hot keys, the POWER-Q allows filter editing
in graphic display screens; you can click and drag parametric filters for quick editing. You can also
save and recall multiple configurations and/or frequency response curves. The POWER-Q's remote
control option allows you to control the unit from your computer through serial/MIDI interface and
Windows software. With the slave unit option, you can control multiple channels of POWER-Qs
from a single master unit or your computer.
