Sabine FBX-1020 Feedback Exterminator
July 11, 1997
Sabine's patented FBX technology just got better. The new FBX-1020 Feedback
Exterminator, the FBX-901 upgrade, takes the industry standard in feedback control to the next
level. And it has a new lower price.
The single channel FBX-1020 automatically senses feedback, determines its frequency, and places
a super-narrow "constant Q" digital notch filter precisely on the feedback frequency. Working during
the program, not just at setup, the FBX provides automatic feedback control, more gain before
feedback, more clarity and more wireless mic mobility.
In addition to standard FBX features such as lockable fixed filters and switchable 1/10- and
1/5 octave filters, the FBX-1020 offers valuable new features. It has improved 20-bit performance,
providing better dynamic range, signal-to-noise and frequency response. It offers 10 feedback filters,
giving the unit more feedback elimination power. Sabine's ClipGuard(TM) adaptive clip level control
with TURBO set-up mode makes set-up faster and easier and increases the effective dynamic
range by 10dB. The FBX-1020 also now has an internal power supply and convenient front panel
buttons for setting total number of filters, setting the desired number of fixed filters, locking fixed
filters and switching filter width.
The FBX-1020 offers all these features at a list price of only $599.95. It will begin shipping in late
July.
Sabine also manufactures the FBX-SOLO Feedback Exterminator, FBX-2020 Dual Feedback
Exterminator, POWER-Q ADF-4000, REAL-Q2 Real-Time Adaptive Equalizer, and the SDA-102
and DQX-206 Digital Delays. FBX products are used by such diverse venues as the Vatican, United
Nations (NY), David Letterman's Late Show, NASA, American Stock Exchange, CBS Sound Shop,
Air Force Band, IBM, Shea Stadium, American Museum of Natural History, Walt Disney Company,
Up With People, Sydney (Australia) Olympic 2000 site, and TNN. For more information, visit their web site at www.sabineinc.com. |
