July 10, 1998Marshall Amplification is announcing the addition of two new 2 X 12 combos to their highly successful Valvestate range of amplifiers. The 100-Watt VS102R is a 2 x 12 combo version of the popular VS100R combo and VS100RH head. Features include three footswitchable channels; separate Reverb controls for each channel, plus Marshall's unique Power Dimension circuitry for fuller tone at low and medium volume levels; emulated Line Out and extension speaker capability. In addition, the VS102R has an ECC83 valve driven pre-amp that works on all channels, separate EQ control for the Clean and Overdrive channels as well as a special Contour control for Overdrive 2. Also included is an FX loop with Mix control and loop level switch. Two custom-designed 12" Marshall 'Goldback' speakers round out this amp's great features, and a headphone jack is supplied for private practice.
The VS232 Valvestate amplifier is designed for guitarists looking for a 2 X 12 combo with twin channel flexibility, and built-in Stereo Chorus for added depth and spread of panoramic sound. The VS232 combines features such as: twin 30-Watt Valvestate power stages; channel switching via footswitch or front panel push switch; separate EQ controls (bass, middle and treble) for each channel; mid-range Contour control (Overdrive channel); Reverb; Marshall's latest Stereo Chorus with speed and depth controls; Line Out and headphone jack. In addition, the VS232 features two specially designed 12" Marshall 'Goldback' speakers.
