| Parker Guitars Introduces Fly Concert Guitar in New Ebony Finish

The Parker Fly Concert guitar, which embodies the essence of Ken Parker's original Fly Guitar concept, is now available in a lush Ebony pearl finish in addition to the current Transparent Butterscotch finish. The Fly Concert's body is crafted from a single piece of Sitka Spruce, long known as an ideal material for the construction of acoustic, stringed instruments. The result is a guitar that is extremely light in weight - about 3.5 pounds. And, unencumbered by magnetic pickups, the Fly Concert sounds and feels lively and satisfying with great response and sustain; its warmth and richness is reminiscent of a fine acoustic flattop. To capture the guitar's wide-ranging tonal response and provide the ultimate in amplified acoustic-guitar sound, Larry Fishman of Fishman Transducers created an active-piezo pickup system designed especially for the Fly Concert. Piezo volume and piezo tone controls are provided. As in all guitars in the Parker Fly family, the new Ebony Concert features a 25 1/2" scale length; spring-tempered, stainless-steel frets precision bonded to the fingerboard; and locking Sperzel tuning machines.
The Ebony Fly Concert guitar is also available with a hardcase at a list price of $2650.
