Parker Presents the Fly Deluxe in Heather Grey
July 10, 1998The Parker Fly Deluxe, with its revolutionary design and construction, has redefined the solid body guitar. Now, Parker announces a new Heather Grey finish for the innovative and versatile Fly Deluxe, which is available in a total of eight beautiful colors.
The Fly Deluxe is constructed of a one-piece poplar body with a basswood neck. The back of the body and neck are strengthened and unified by an ultra-thin layer of carbon/glass/epoxy composite. This patented process enables the Fly Deluxe to be thin and light in weight (approximately five pounds), yet strong and extremely responsive. The fingerboard is composed of the same materials and is fast, unusually stable and highly wear resistant.
The Fly Deluxe has a scale length of 25 1/2" and features 24 spring-tempered, stainless-steel frets that are precision bonded to the fingerboard. It is also equipped with custom-wound DiMarzio® humbuckers, a custom-designed Fishman® active-piezo pickup system and locking Sperzel® tuning machines. A vibrato bridge is also available.
The Parker Fly Deluxe in Heather Grey, with a Levy® gig bag, has a list price of $2575. For more information, visit their web site at www.parkerguitars.com. |
