| Iron Cobra Pedals Get Carrying Cases
 July 26, 1999"Precision instruments deserve to be treated like precision instruments."
With that slogan as their guide, Tama is now shipping protective carrying
cases at no extra charge with its Iron Cobra bass drum pedals. The offer
is for a limited time period and both single and double pedals are included.
"When you put pedals in a properly designed case, they're going to
last longer and function better than just dumping them in a trap-case,"
remarked Bill Reim, Tama's Vice President of Marketing and a drummer himself,
"This is an idea that was long overdue."
Advertising featuring the pedal cases as well as artists Charlie Benante
of Anthrax and Michael Cox of Coal Chamber will run this summer.
