Hartke's new "Street Rod" basses include
the high end WK Series and affordable CK Series instruments, which represent
a dynamic and affordable new option for bassists.
WK Series four and five string basses feature a light and resonant contoured
Basswood body that cranks like a high-powered tone engine. Two full range
active "soap bar" style pickups with 2-band active EQ and Volume,
Tone and Balance controls let players shape their sound in seconds. A
3-piece adjustable maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets provide
maximum playing comfort and speed. Plus lustrous Black Quilt Maple and
Silver finishes with black hardware.

A reasonably price option for young bassists, the CK
Series has everything you need in a bass guitar. Also made of Basswood
with a smooth contoured design, the bass has a slim maple neck with
a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The CK bass also features a special
"P-J" pickup configuration, two Volume and two Tone controls
and 2-band active EQ for any bass tone. Dot position markets on the
side of the neck and a heavy-duty chrome bridge and a satin black finish
take it all the way home. The CK is available in black only.

Suggested list prices for the WK-4 are $549 (Silver)
and $599 (Black Quilt Maple), the WK-5 are $599 (Silver) and $649 (Black
Quilt Maple). The CK lists for $369.
