Roland Announces Two New Products For VK-77
February 3, 1999
To meet the demands of VK-77 Combo Organ owners who
are used to playing console-type organs, Roland introduces the PK-25 Pedalboard
and BNC-25 Bench. The PK-25 is a 25-key pedalboard developed exclusively
for use with the VK-77 Combo Organ, which combined with the BNC-25 Bench,
gives players a level of playability that was previously unattainable.
Like
the original PK-7 Pedalboard, the PK-25 is well-suited for complicated
bass lines in jazz performances. It features a larger 25-key pedalboard,
detachable expression pedal, and a radiating key layout for authentic
key touch and action. Two footswitches control rotary speed, rotary brake
operation, and parameter data such as Sequencer Start/Stop, Preset Up/Down,
Orch. Glide, and more. A hold switch is also included for sustaining notes.
The PK-25 is the perfect complement to the already-powerful VK-77 and
can be connected with a single cable. Its wooden design captures the beauty
of the VK-77, creating the ultimate console-type organ look and feel.
Connections include a dedicated PK Out, MIDI Out, Hold Out, Expression
Out, and two Footswitch Outs (L, R).
The BNC-25 is a high-quality organ bench specially designed for a VK-77
connected with the PK-25. Featuring a traditional walnut finish, this
bench is both comfortable and sturdy, thanks to its convenient foot rest
and durable steel legs. The BNC-25 is the perfect complement to the grandeur
of the VK-77.
