TC Electronic is showing the M-One Dual Effects Processor,
and the D-Two Multi-Tap Rhythm Delay - two new signal processors in a
price range that is unprecedented for the multi-award winning, world-renowned
manufacturer of high end effects. "These two new products are designed
specifically to meet the needs of anyone who is striving to achieve the
best quality sound possible in this price range," commented Ed Simeone
Managing Director of TC Electronic US. "In true TC tradition, these
processors deliver the very highest quality to value ratio of any product
in their class."
The M-One Dual Effects Processor is a general purpose dual engine processor
offering some of TC Electronic's most coveted algorithms including enhanced
reverbs based on all new research - plus delay, dynamics, pitch and classic
"golden ratio" chorus and tremolo. There are a total of 25 different
algorithms in all, accessible via a fast, simple and intuitive user interface.
128 ROM presets and 128 user RAM preset locations are provided. The M-One
hardware consists of full resolution 24 bit A/D and D/A converters with
24 bit internal processing driven by a powerful 100 million instruction
per second DSP engine. 1/4" analog I/O connectors are provided for
fast and simple connectivity, additionally a SPDIF digital I/O is included
for a pure all digital, 24 bit signal path supporting both 44.1K and 48K
rates.
Based on the history of the classic TC Electronic 2290 Delay, the D-Two
Multi-Tap Rhythm Delay offers a very musically oriented Rhythm Tap feature.
The Rhythm Tap can easily be applied for live sound and recording applications
- and also post production, broadcast, installed sound and a variety of
other situations where a creative and intuitive delay can be utilized.
Featuring up to 10 seconds of delay, the D-Two provides six Direct-Access
add on features, including Spatial, Ping Pong, Reverse, Dynamic Delay,
Chorus and Filter. 50 ROM presets and 128 user RAM preset locations are
available. The D-Two's hardware compliment consists of full resolution
24 bit A/D and D/A converters with 24 bit internal processing driven by
a powerful 100 million instruction per second DSP engine. 1/4" analog
