DG80-210A Digital Combo Amp from Yamaha

Yamaha Corporation of America is proud to introduce
the DG80-210A Digital Combo Amp at Winter NAMM 2000, the latest in the
DG Series of innovative digital guitar amplifiers. Featuring the same
great specifications of the award-winning DG80-112, the amplifier features
new Tremolo and Chorus effects in a 2x10 speaker configuration. The unit
will begin shipping in April 2000.

Like its predecessor, the DG80-210A has the appearance of a vintage
tube amplifier, a user-friendly control panel, motorized knobs and a realistic
tube sound made possible by Yamaha’s Electronic Circuit Modeling
(ECM) technology. In addition to the eight preamps, retro-style digital
tape echo and 128 memory locations, the DG80-210A offers three state-of-the-art
digital reverbs–hall, plate and a newly-designed spring reverb. The
amp features a send and return with blend control for external effects,
and a MIDI IN and OUT for the addition of a MIDI foot controller. Guitarists
can enjoy exciting Chorus and Tremolo effects, plus new MIDI control functions
with the inclusion of Version 2 software.
Users can record directly from the XLR output using the Speaker Simulator
for realistic microphone/speaker sound. The DG80-210A contains two 10-in.
Celestion speakers, which provide optimal tone and dynamics.
