PRESS RELEASE

Zoom 7010 Fire

January 18, 1996

A true "category creator," the new Zoom 7010 "Fire" starts out as a versatile analog and digital multi-effects system in the world-class Zoom tradition with a built-in amplifier and a sophisticated speaker -- all in a convenient, modern package just a bit bigger than a conventional stomp box!

The Fire's sophisticated processing section includes 28 built-in individual effects: A range of thick, natural analog distortions, compression, EQ, chorus, flanging, tremolo, ring modulation, doubling and a powerful selection of rich-sounding hall and room delays/reverbs. Seven of these effects can be combined for simultaneous use and up to 64 patches (24 user and 40 Zoom presets) are available.

Take all those great Zoom effects and add in a surprisingly big-sounding amplifier and a unique, high-quality "lift-up" mini-speaker, and watch the potential applications for the Fire take on a whole new dimension. Then consider the Fire's extraordinary sound quality and side-mounted direct output that lets you patch it into external amps, PA systems, studio mixers and more, and the possibilities start to expand exponentially.

If all that wasn't enough, consider these unbelievable Fire Features: a built-in Auto chromatic tuner, amp simulation for recording, a stereo Mix input so you can jam with tapes or CDs, AC powering and battery operation, an optional remote input jack for foot pedal control and a headphone output.

Suggested list price for the new Zoom 7010 "Fire" is $349. For more information about this amazing new product and the whole line of Zoom processing, please Call (516) 364-2244, Fax (516) 364-3888 or write Samson Technologies Corp., P.O. Box 9031, Syosset, NY 11791-9031.
