Marshall JTM600 Head and Cabinet January 16, 1997
Marshall Amplification, the world's leading designer and manufacturer of electric guitar amplifiers since 1962, has added the JTM600 head and JTMC410 speaker cabinet to their JTM60 series of amplifiers. The JTM600 head shares many of the features of the JTM60 combo amplifiers including an output rating of 60 Watts with two EL34 power valves and four 12AX7 pre-amp valves for that legendary Marshall "All Tube Sound."
The new JTM600 is loaded with features like: two totally independent channels (Normal & Boost); dual reverb controls, one for each channel; a Parallel FX loop with Mix control on the front panel; a Series FX loop; a Master Presence control on the back panel; three-band EQ (bass, middle, treble) for each channel; a XLR direct line out with switchable Speaker Emulation circuitry.
The output stage of the JTM600 head was specially designed to drive the matching Marshall JTMC410 speaker cabinet which is equipped with four custom-designed Celestion 10-inch, 30 Watt Gold Back speakers. The JTM600 head can be combined with a single JTMC410 to form a powerful compact half-stack or it can be combined with two JTMC410's to create a "Classic" stack.
As with all models in the Marshall JTM60 series, the JTM600 and JTMC410 feature retro-style vinyl grille cloth. The JTM600 comes supplied with a P801 footswitch for instant channel switching. For more information, visit their web site at www.marshallamps.com. |
