Park Amplification has announced the introduction of the G series range of combo guitar amplifiers. The initial launch features three models:
- The G10MK.II - a single channel, 10 watt amplifier with an 6-1/2" speaker, featuring controls for Gain and Volume, as well as a single rotary Contour control which shifts the mid-range frequencies facilitating for a wide-variety of tonal variations. A Boost switch changes the combo's sound from "clean" to "distortion," and a Headphone Jack allows headphones to be used for private practice. The G10MK.II has a suggested retail price of $99.99
- The G15RCD - a single channel, 15 watt amplifier with an 8" speaker, featuring a Master Volume and two Gain controls which allow the creation of a wide spectrum of sounds ranging from "clean" to full-blown "distortion." The Bass, Treble, and Contour controls permit further frequency adjustment while the built-in Reverb will add ambiance to the overall sound if required. A CD Input is provided for connection to a CD or Tape player, allowing the guitarist to practice along with their favorite songs. A Headphone Jack for private practice and a Line Out Jack for direct connection to recording equipment or a PA rounds out the G15RCD's features. The G15RCD has a suggested retail price of $179.99.
- The G30RCD- a single input, 2 channel, 30 watt amplifier with 10" heavy-duty speaker. The G30RCD features a channel switching design (front panel or footswitch operational) providing the guitarist the ability to switch instantly between the Clean and Overdrive channels. An easy-to-read LED light on the front panel indicates if the Overdrive channel has been selected. Both channels have independent controls: the clean channel has controls for Volume, Bass and Treble, while the Overdrive channel has controls for Gain, Bass, Contour, Treble and Volume. A built-in spring Reverb(with rotary control) can add ambiance if desired, Headphone Jack for silent practice, and Line Out Jack for direct connection to a PA or recording equipment are included. A CD Input for connecting a CD player, Tape deck or other auxiliary device for "play-along" practice, makes the Park G30RCD a perfect choice for guitarists of all musicals genres.
