Emagic Bundles Peak SE with Logic AudioTM Platinum

(BIAS) a leading manufacturer of digital audio editing software, announces a software bundling agreement with EMagic, creators of the highly acclaimed Logic Audio integrated digital audio MIDI sequencing software. According to the agreement, Logic Audio Platinum for MacOS will now include Peak SE, a special edition of Peak LE, the streamlined edition of the highly acclaimed Peak digital audio editing software for Macintosh. The inclusion of Peak SE with Logic Audio augments the capabilities of the digital audio sequencing software by adding professional two-track editing and mastering capabilities, as well as support for most popular digital sampling instruments.

The inclusion of Peak SE with Logic Audio Platinum adds sampler support and a host of useful sample editing tools to the full featured digital audio sequencing software. Peak SE supports samplers from AKAI, E-mu, Ensoniq, Kurzweil, Peavey, Roland, Yamaha and others. Sample editing features in Peak SE include non-destructive editing with unlimited undo/redo, flexible looping tools, support for Adobe Premiere plug-ins, RealAudioTM encoding for streaming
audio over the Internet, Import CD Audio, DSP tools, customizable blending and fade envelopes, and support for
AIFF, SDII, QuickTimeTM, .WAV, raw, and .snd file formats. BIAS will offer an upgrade path from Peak SE to the
full version of Peak, which offers more specialized editing tools, including Playlists, Batch File Processing, unique sound design tools, and more DSP operations.
Pricing and Availability
BIAS Peak SE will be included in the Platinum versions of Logic Audio for MacOS only. Logic Audio Platinum as with all products in the Logic Series will be release in the first quarter of 1998.
