A P-100 chain-drive pedal and PowerPro stands: C-800W cymbal stand; S-800W snare stand; and H-800W hi-hat complete the Export's hardware package.
1998 Exports now include the upgraded SS-514 (5 1/2"x14") steel snare drum. Patterned after Pearl's popular SensiTone snare drums, the SS-514 features newly designed CL-50 lugs with solid brass inserts and a beaded shell for increased strength, rigidity and projection. The SR-014N strainer uses "vertical pull" geometry to produce clean, choke-free snare response from edge to center of the head.
Top-of-the-line TH-98 tom holders are now standard. Unlike tom holders with teeth, TH-98's adjust to any angle thus permitting ideal placement of toms for easy and fast transitions from drum to drum.
New ProTone heads are also standard. Made with high-grade polyester film, ProTone heads offer pro-quality sound and durability. ProTone bass drum heads feature built-in muffle rings for virtually "out-of-the-box" playability without additional muffling.
