Foundry Will Support Yamaha Corporation's New DSP Factory January

Sonic Foundry, Inc., prominent developer of audio software for Windows 95 and
Windows NT, will support the DSP Factory, a new computer audio system announced
by Yamaha Corporation of America, Pro Audio Group, at the '98 NAMM International
Music Market. Sonic Foundry has agreed to support the Yamaha DSP Factory system
with its current and future line of award-winning audio products, including the
recently announced ACID, a loop-based audio production tool. Yamaha's first
product in the DSP Factory system, the DS2416 digital mixing card, offers the
mixing power of the 02R digital mixer plus 16 tracks of hard disk recording with
up to 32-bit resolution. Monty Schmidt, President of Sonic Foundry, commented,
