Lite Begins Shipping with All PARIS Systems January

GmbH, the market leader of music software companies on both the Macintosh and
Windows platforms, today announced that Steinberg's WaveLab Lite audio editing
and processing software will be bundled with all Ensoniq PARIS digital audio workstations
beginning January 1, 1998, at no additional cost to consumers, and will be available
to all existing PARIS owners free of charge.The inclusion of WaveLab Lite into
the PARIS bundles delivers powerful waveform editing and processing capabilities
to all PARIS users running on the Windows 95 platform. This special version
of WaveLab Lite has the ability to read PARIS Audio Files (PAF), as well as WAV,
AIFF, AU and RAW file formats. PARIS users will be able to directly open existing
PAF files in WaveLab Lite, apply edits like HiQuality EQ, Dynamics, Time- and
Pitch correction and much more, and open them again in the PARIS application.
WaveLab Lite offers many of the same editing capabilities found in the full version
WaveLab, including: - Cut, Copy and Paste
- Fades/Crossfades
- Compressor/Limiter
- Parametric EQs
- Reverse
- Dynamics
- Eliminate DC Offset
- Invert

WaveLab Lite for Paris includes a special upgrade offer
to the full version. The Ensoniq PARIS Partners Program The Paris
Partners Program is a venue for third party developers to support PARIS with additional
software and hardware products designed to augment and/or increase system functionality.
