Akai Introduces Compact Guitar Chord

January 1999 NAMM show.
Offering features found on chord finders costing nearly three times as
much, the Akai GCF1 is a compact key-holder sized, battery operated unit
with an amazing suggested retail price of only $19.95.
Perfect for every guitar player, the GCF1's LCD display indicates the
selected guitar chord name and chord pattern in a six string/four fret
area with root note and mute strings from the on-board 324 chord/905 pattern
library. User controls include key, chord, tension and variable position
chord selection. An on/off switch is provided and the GCF1 automatically
turns off after five minutes of non operation.
