New 7-String Warlock from B.C. Rich
January 28, 1999B.C. Rich unveiled it's new 7-string Warlock Guitar at the 1999 Winter NAMM
Show in Los Angeles. This guitar is a classic, neckthru design, the invention
of master luthier, Bernie Rico, President and Founder of B.C. Rich. This new
guitar will incorporate hollowed bodied tone chambers placed in strategic locations,
for a crunchy, heavy metal sound. The guitar also has a 25.4 inch scale neck,
25 frets, a nut width of 1 15/16", and a 16 inch neck radius. Quadmatic bridges
are standard, but Licensed Double Floyd Rose Tremolos will be optional.
The Warlock 7-string guitars do more than just add an extra string to a solid
body Fender Style 6 string guitar", says Bernie Rico Jr., Vice President, and
B.C. Chief of Guitar Operations. "Our neckthru 7 string bodies were designed
exclusively for the low B, and not high A tuning", a feature which is demanded
by B.C. Rich heavy Metal players," Rico continued.
These guitars will also offer the option of their signature B.C. Rich Active
Electronics, which provide a guitar player with a full spectrum of sound that
has never been achieved in a standard 7 string guitar. For more information, visit the B.C. Rich web site at www.bcrichguitars.com. |
