January 28, 1999Electro-Harmonix is proud to reintroduce the Micro Synthesizer for guitar.
The Micro Synthesizer lets guitarists reproduce many of the vintage analog
sounds generated by the early great Moog synthesizers.
The Micro Synthesizer's compact layout of ten slider controls gives
the player nuanced control over all aspects of the processed sound. Four
completely independent and fully mixable voices-Guitar, Octave Above,
Sub-Octave, and Square Wave-are modified by the Resonance, Start Frequency,
Stop Frequency, and Rate controls of the Filter Sweep section allowing
highly variable frequency adjustments to be made to the signal. The Trigger
slider can be used to adjust the sensitivity of the filter circuits and
makes it possible to play synthesizer leads against softer, unfiltered
chords. The Attack Delay slider determines the time required for the voice
signals to reach full volume. The Micro Synthesizer's ability to produce
classic analog synthesizer sounds combined with the detailed control it
offers guitarists make it an invaluable tool for the sonically adventurous.
The Micro Synthesizer is housed in the traditional Electro-Harmonix
trapezoidal brushed-steel chassis, is assembled in the USA and is packaged
in a distinctive wooden box. The Micro Synthesizer is on sale now at leading
music stores worldwide. Suggested list price is $358.00. For more information about the Micro Synthesizer and the entire line
