Fender Announces Mexican Classic Series

For vintage guitar enthusiasts who desire the look, feel and sound of classic Fender guitars, Fender introduces the Mexican Classic Series. This new line pays tribute to four hallmark models, including the '50s, '60s and '70's Stratocaster® as well as the '50s Telecaster®. With features that replicate those of the originals, each model has its own unique story to tell and is backed by Fender's limited Lifetime Warranty.

'50s AND '60s STRATOCASTER®

These timeless classics feature deep body contours, characteristic neck shapes, aged plastic parts and a choice of six classic Fender colors. Each guitar is made with either a solid poplar or alder body (depending on finish) with one-piece maple neck (7.25" radius), 25.5" scale length, Fender vintage style machine heads, 21 nickel silver frets, 3 vintage Strat® pickups, 1 volume, 2 tone controls, 5-way switching, synchronized tremolo, Fender Super 250R strings and a deluxe gig bag are all included.

'70s STRATOCASTER®

The U-shaped neck, large headstock and "bullet" truss rod are unmistakable features that define the Strats of this era. This beautiful replication has it all; including solid ash body, one-piece maple neck, Rosewood or Maple fingerboard (7.25" radius), 25.5" scale length, Schaller® vintage "F" machine heads, 21 nickel silver frets, 3 vintage Strat pickups, 1 volume and 2 tone controls, 5-way switching, synchronized tremolo, Fender super 250R strings and comes accompanied with a deluxe gig bag. The '70s Strat is available in 3-color sunburst, natural and Olympic white.

'50s TELECASTER®

The purity of this timeless collectible is artfully captured in this faithful reproduction. , This time-honored guitar has been recreated at at Fender's own state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Baja California to ensure that the quality and style that the Fender name has come to covey, is properly achieved. The '50s Tele features an ash body, V-shaped one piece maple neck (7.25" radius), 25.5" scale length, Fender vintage style machine heads, 21 nickel silver frets, single-ply white pickguard, 2 screaming vintage Tele pickups, master volume and tone, 3-way switching, 3-saddle string-through-body-bridge, Fender super 250L strings and deluxe Fender gig bag. Color options include: White Blonde, 2-Color Sunburst and Black.
