January 28, 1999Redefining the scope of modern bass amplification, the new Hartke
HA4000 and HA3000 amps offer unprecedented sound-shaping and a wide range of
inter-facing options.
The HA4000 produces 400 watts into 4 ohms and 220 watts into 8 ohms. A special
Shape circuit with a variable intensity control lets bassists voice their instruments
in different ways and create a range of new tone colors. The amp also includes
a comprehensive 4-band EQ section with two fully parametric mids for absolutely
precise tone control. A D-Bass EQ control provides additional deep bass tones.
In terms of interfacing flexibility, the HA4000 features a special DI output
that converts a buffered version of the guitar input signal to a balanced, low
impedance format for driving any cable length, PA or slave bass system. A balanced
Preamp output lets you drive another bass system while retaining all of the
original tone settings. A Sub Bass output provides a preamp signal suitable
for driving a combination subwoofer/amplifier system. Other features include
a special Mute switch for all outputs except the tuner output to allow instant
tuning on stage; Pre and Post-EQ effects loops and more.
The HA3000 Amplifier produces 300 watts into 4 ohms and 180 watts into 8 ohms.
It also includes a special Shape circuit with variable intensity control and
a 4-band fixed EQ for tone shaping. It also features the same DI output, special
Mute switch for tuning and Pre and Post-EQ effects loops found on the HA4000.
Suggested retail price for the HA4000 is $699 and the HA3000 is $569. For more information, visit Hartke at http://www.samsontech.com/ |
