Korg announces the introduction of the affordable CA-20 Chromatic Tuner and the GA-20 Guitar and Bass Tuner. These compact (3.9"W x 2.44"H x 0.6"D) tuners feature both Auto and Manual tuning modes. In auto mode, the tuner will automatically detect the pitch of an input note. Manual mode enables the user to select a desired pitch to tune to. Also featured are: a built-in high-sensitivity microphone for tuning acoustic instruments; an Auto power-off function; and up to 100 hours of continuous battery life.

The meter sections of both tuners use liquid-crystal needle displays, which combine the accuracy of an LCD and the "analog feel" of a conventional needle-style meter. Three LED's also indicate whether the note being tuned is sharp, flat, or precisely on pitch.

The CA-20 Chromatic Tuner's advanced design permits accurate tuning of any instrument-particularly those in lower ranges, or instruments with a large number of overtones. It quickly determines the note name as well as range for any kind of musical instrument (including strings, wind and keyboards). This wide detection range allows for tuning from A0 (27.50Hz) to B7 (3,951.07Hz). Additionally, the Calibration Function enables the user to select a reference pitch in the range of 430Hz to 449Hz in 1Hz steps, providing the versatility to match tuning to any instrument or recording.

The GA-20 is the smallest dedicated Guitar/Bass Tuner ever offered by Korg. It allows for the selection of either Guitar or Bass tuning modes. It provides a Quadra-flat tuning mode, which supports the dropped tunings used in many of today's musical styles. Four stages of flat tuning are supported, from one semitone through two whole tones. The Bass mode features a wide detection range which supports six-string bass (Low-B, Hi-C).
