Martinsound, Inc. will be showing the Neotek Elite II dual-input audio mixing console with Audiomate moving fader automation on both signal paths, plus the MultiMAX multiformat monitor controller, at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles, January 28 - 31, 1999.
Featuring 2 stereo buses, 24 multitrack buses and a flexible dual channel architecture, the Neotek Elite II mixing console not only offers the convenience of in-line monitoring but also provides additional signal routing possibilities. The console can now have both the short (monitor) and long (channel) faders automated with the Audiomate system. The addition of the MultiMAX multi-format monitor controller to the system allows any studio to meet the demands of recording, post production and DVD mixing applications that require LCRS, 5.1 or even 7.1 capabilities.
The Power PC native software and intuitive user interface makes Audiomate the first choice for many engineers. The sophisticated software offers channel and global operational modes, fader and mute grouping, snapshots, cue list, machine control and comprehensive off-line editing functions, yet is simple for even the first-time user to operate.
All of the functions in MultiMAX surround sound monitor controller are under microprocessor control, allowing the operator to easily configure the studio with several different loudspeaker setups and program the unit for multiple surround formats and processors. MultiMAX is easy to operate, with front panel switches and an LCD readout offering full control of its features. Any matrix encode-decode system or processor can be inserted with the push of just one button. An optional remote control unit is now available, and will make its debut at the NAMM Show.
The 2 audio paths on each Elite II input module may operate independently, in parallel, or in series. Each path may independently select its input source from the microphone preamplifier, the line input or the module's multitrack bus output. The variable high pass filter, insert and 4 band parametric equalizer on each channel may be separately assigned to either audio path, as may the 6 auxiliary sends. A fader reverse function effectively doubles the routing possibilities of the Elite II.
The Elite II console offers audiophile quality microphone preamplifiers, wide bandwidth and brilliant transparency, qualities which have established the reputation of Neotek during the last 25 years. The addition of the Audiomate moving fader automation system for both the 60 mm and 100 mm fader paths has further enhanced the value of the Elite II console system.
